Our Reclaimed Grade A Oak Railway Sleepers are extremely robust and durable.

Most are waney/bevelled on one or two corners giving them character and a more rustic look.

These are basically our rejected 'Grade A' sleepers so limited stock available. These are not as aesthetically pleasing as our 'Grade A' sleepers but still strong, robust and very useful.  They are suitable for many uses where the appearance of the sleepers are less important and low cost is vital.  Suggested uses include: Shed bases, cabin supports, kerbing, industrial purposes such as bearers for heavy plant and machinery.

Our Grade B/C sleepers are very rustic looking with waney edges on one or two corners, some may have cracked ends.  Most of are a bit warped; either along their length or slightly ‘s’ shaped.  See photos for more details.

They can be used in parks, gardens, and outdoor recreational and leisure facilities but only if there is no risk of frequent skin contact. However, they must not be used inside buildings, whatever their purposes; in toys; in playgrounds and for garden furniture such as picnic tables
